A construction surveying company in Jacksonville, FL seeks field crew members.
PREVIOUS SURVEYING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Utilize the latest surveying technology and equipment to complete construction surveying fieldwork
- Coordinate and communicate field work with surveying and engineering office personnel
- Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to clearly describe work performed
- Position reports to field crew chief
Job type: full time, permanent position (on-site)
Positions Available:
Crew Chief - Pay based upon experience
Requirements:
- 2 years land surveying experience
- In depth knowledge of data collectors and robotic total stations (Trimble, Sokkia & Spectra Focus)
- Familiarity with GPS and/or AutoCAD is a plus
- Ability to understand and interpret survey point data
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and dependable transportation
Field Crew – $16.00/hour and up depending on experience
Requirements:
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions, as this position will primarily be outdoors
- Capacity to perform physical activities such as lifting, dragging, stooping, and standing/walking
- Confident and efficient communications skills
- Dedication, reliability and a willingness to learn
- Dependable transportation
