What are the responsibilities and job description for the Juicer position at Local Roots Juice Co.?
We are looking to add a member to our juicing team! This would be perfect for someone who prefers working early in the morning and would have afternoons and evenings free. No experience necessary. This is a hands-on job where you get to make juice on a commercial juicer and work in a close-knit positive small business environment. Outgoing personality, very strong work ethic, and natural organization and cleaning skills are an absolute must! We will train you on everything you need to know. You will maintain direct contact with the owner as well as other juicers on our team to ensure a smooth running juicing operation with happiness and excellence at the forefront. We are looking for someone to work 3-5 days per week, including but not limited to, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Typical hours would be 6:30AM-1PM with varying end times depending on the schedule that week. We are very flexible and will work with you depending on your availability.
Job Duties
-Placing orders for produce, receiving the order, unpacking and inspecting for quality
-Communicating with the produce supplier if any issues arise
-Maintaining cleanliness and the supplies needed to keep the workspace and equipment in great condition
-Communicate with local health authorities yearly regarding our bottling and food service licenses
-Making a plan for juicing depending on demand, shelf life, cleanses needed, and produce availability
-Work alongside a juice assistant to help expedite the process
-Be available to speak to customers regarding juice cleanses when in the shop
-Take out boxes to the trash and ensure our storage areas are clean
-Clean and store bottles and lids for juice
-Label bottles and keep excellent organization of all supplies
-Work with other members of the team to ensure all products are stocked and ordered timely when low
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
