Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
Duties
- Safely operate 6-wheel oil tankwagons.
- Load and deliver heating oil and diesel fuel.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery particulars.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience with tanker operations is preferred.
- Excellent navigation skills with a good understanding of local routes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety compliance.
