Duties

• Lead and supervise store operations, ensuring all activities align with company policies and standards.
• Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory control techniques to minimize shrinkage.
• Oversee cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to guarantee accuracy and security.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing retail environment.
• Implement merchandising strategies and pricing policies to maximize sales and enhance store presentation.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and manage budgets to meet financial targets.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently.
• Coordinate shift schedules, supervise staff during peak hours, and ensure smooth store operations at all times.
• Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to promote employee engagement and development.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while ensuring a clean and organized store environment.

Skills

• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in supervising retail teams or assistant management roles.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse customer interactions.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and retail math.
• Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, marketing strategies, and sales management techniques.
• Demonstrated ability in employee recruitment, interviewing, training & development, and performance management.
• Sound organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively using time management techniques.
• Experience in managing budgets, pricing strategies, cash handling procedures, and retail sales analytics.
• Knowledge of wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
