Laundromat Delivery Driver

Join our growing team as a Pickup & Delivery Driver and become the friendly face of Local Laundry for customers who count on us to come to them! In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service on every doorstep, handling laundry orders with the same care and attention our in-store team is known for, and representing our brand in the community with warmth and professionalism. Even though we are a small shop, customers come from many towns over because we are friendly and clean — and our drivers carry that reputation right to the front door. Our mission is to serve our community with gladness and positivity, one pickup at a time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly at pickup and drop-off, answer questions about services, and leave every interaction feeling like a five-star experience — you are the face of Local Laundry for our delivery customers
• Pick up and drop off laundry orders on a scheduled route, managing your time efficiently across multiple stops in Norfolk County
• Handle customer laundry with extraordinary care — bags should arrive in the same condition they left, and completed orders should be neatly packaged and accounted for before delivery
• Operate your vehicle (or a company vehicle when available) safely, obeying all traffic laws, speed limits, and parking regulations at all times
• Communicate professionally with the store team and customers via phone or text to confirm pickups, give arrival estimates, and flag any issues promptly
• Process payments at the door when required, including handling cash accurately and providing receipts
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report any mechanical concerns or incidents to management immediately
• Recruit new commercial clients for Local Laundry — drivers who bring in new customers share in the success with a referral bonus

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must carry personal auto insurance including Bodily Injury, Property Damage, and Personal Liability coverage
• Previous experience in delivery, customer service, hospitality, or hotel environments preferred but not required
• Outstanding people skills — a naturally friendly, approachable demeanor that puts customers at ease
• Knowledge of laundry operations or Wash Dry Fold processes is a plus; willingness to learn is a must
• Comfortable navigating local roads and using maps/GPS apps efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling payments and verifying order accuracy
• English speaker (English as a second language is okay!)
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented — able to manage a route independently while keeping the store team informed
• Ability to lift and carry laundry bags (up to 40 lbs) and load/unload a vehicle repeatedly throughout a shift
