Crew Leader, Landscape

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Crew Leader, Landscape to oversee and coordinate outdoor landscaping projects with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will lead a team of skilled landscapers, ensuring that all grounds maintenance, landscape installation, and hardscape projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in management, plant identification, and grounds maintenance will drive successful project execution while fostering a positive team environment. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of landscape technicians, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate daily work schedules for landscaping, lawn care, hardscape installation, and grounds maintenance activities.
• Oversee the operation of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools.
• Identify plants accurately and provide horticultural guidance to team members for proper planting and care.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all outdoor work activities and operate company vehicles responsibly for project transportation.
• Assist in training team members on equipment operation, landscaping techniques, and customer service standards.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, equipment usage, safety inspections, and crew performance.
• Operate heavy equipment when needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening or related outdoor work environments.
• Supervising or crew management experience in landscaping or groundskeeping roles.
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and tree care techniques.
• Familiarity with irrigation management systems and hardscape installation is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently; experience with grounds equipment operation is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; attention to detail is essential for quality outcomes.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
