Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled exterior services Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong commitment to maintaining beautiful landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our grounds, including landscape maintenance, lawn care, and hardscape installation.
Duties
- Perform landscape and snow maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, snow plowing, and sidewalk shoveling to ensure a neat and safe appearance.
- Dig and prepare areas for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as needed.
- Manage snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to facilities.
- Maintain equipment used in grounds maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is required.
- Familiarity with handheld and commercial landscaping equipment is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of lawn care practices and plant care techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
