We are seeking a passionate and experienced Ballet Instructor to join our dynamic dance education team. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive ballet curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, including early childhood, preschool, and adult education.
- Lead engaging ballet classes that emphasize technique, artistry, and musicality while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure safety protocols are followed during all sessions.
- Plan and execute lesson plans that incorporate elements of theater, dance history, and performance skills.
- Provide individualized tutoring and feedback to help students improve their technique and confidence.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or other educators to support student development in childhood development, behavior management, and special education needs.
- Assist with event preparation for recitals or performances, including costume fittings or stage rehearsals.
- Maintain organized records of student progress and attendance.
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching ballet to children, preschoolers, or adults with classroom management skills.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom experience.
- Knowledge of childhood development, early childhood education, and behavior management strategies.
- Skills in theater arts or performance coaching are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children or in preschool settings is highly desirable.
