Job Overview
We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Office & Production Support Specialist to join our team. In this dual role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients while providing critical support to our production team. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, possesses strong communication skills, and enjoys a dynamic workday that blends administrative tasks with hands-on production assistance.
Schedule & Compensation
- Status: Full-time
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (35 hours per week)
- Starting Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Performance Review: Eligibility for a pay and performance evaluation after a 90-day introductory period
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls and emails.
- Assist customers with inquiries, order tracking, and general information.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to assist with order processing, inventory counts, and project estimates.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when entering data and managing customer records.
- Transition to the production area as needed to assist with assembly, packaging, or quality control.
- Keep the office environment organized and running efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sharp problem-solving abilities and a quick learning curve.
- Proficiency with basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Solid computer literacy, including experience with email platforms and basic spreadsheet software.
- Ability to multitask and pivot between office work and production needs seamlessly.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting: Must be able to safely and regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs during production shifts.
- Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods when working in the production area.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
