Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and member-focused Financial Success Specialist to join our Howell team. The Financial Success Specialist is a versatile team member who supports both the teller line and member service functions, delivering exceptional service while promoting the financial wellness of our members. Whether processing transactions, opening accounts, completing loan applications or closings, the Financial Success Specialist plays a key role in building strong relationships, ensuring high levels of member satisfaction and retention and supporting the overall success of the branch. This is accomplished through accurate and professional member transactions, following established policies and procedures, and enhanced member awareness of the Credit Union's product and service offerings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to high service standards, operational excellence and a desire to grow participation in the Credit Union.
- Handle member requests in a thorough, efficient and accurate manner while in alignment with the member's financial goals.
- Using active listening and probing questions, take a needs-based approach to recommending Credit Union products and services, while promoting the financial wellness of our members.
- Successful problem resolution with minimal member effort and friction.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of LOC products, services, platforms, policies and procedures to maximize cross-sell opportunities and to troubleshoot issues.
- Consistently meet or exceed individual or team goals, while maintaining a strong focus on member satisfaction and retention.
- Follow up with members regularly to track progress, close sales opportunities, and build long-lasting relationships.
- Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assists members with deposits, loans and e-Services products.
- Possess expertise for more complex Credit Union product and services--including but not limited to-- IRA's, Business loans and accounts, Trust, Guardianship, POA, Rep. Payee and Conservatorship accounts, and Home Equity Products.
- Efficiently, effectively and accurately perform teller functions.
- Accurately balances teller drawer/bag and assists with ATM, vault, and night drop transactions as needed.
- Serves as a Notary Republic and provides Signature Guarantee Medallion services.
- Ability to work at a minimum of one Saturday per month with occasional travel between branches required.
