Duties
- Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients, introducing mortgage products and gathering preliminary information
- Assist in loan processing by collecting necessary documentation and verifying borrower details
- Support loan officers with credit analysis, basic math calculations, and data entry using financial software such as Quicken or similar tools
- Promote understanding of fair housing regulations and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) compliance during customer interactions
- Conduct follow-up calls to nurture leads, answer client inquiries, and schedule appointments with loan officers
- Maintain accurate records of all communications, loan applications, and client data in accordance with company policies
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure loan files meet FNMA guidelines and other regulatory standards
Requirements
- Strong interest in financial sales, mortgage lending, or banking industries
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency and familiarity with accounting or financial software
- Knowledge of mortgage servicing processes, loan origination, and loan processing procedures preferred but not required; training provided
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations, TILA requirements, and credit analysis fundamentals is advantageous
- Customer service experience with a positive attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
