About the Job
Loaning.ai is looking for a Junior Loan Processor who wants to grow beyond a traditional operator role. We are a Fintech company automating the mortgage industry.
We are looking for someone who can master the fundamentals of loan processing and then work with us to eliminate manual work. You will identify inefficiencies in your daily tasks and collaborate with our Tech Team to build solutions.
This position is open to candidates with 1-3 years of experience looking for a better way to work, OR motivated entry-level individuals eager to start a career in Fintech.
What You’ll Do (Priorities)
1. Master the Fundamentals (Document Management):
• Collect, review, and organize internal loan documents to ensure files are accurate and audit-ready.
• Verify borrower documentation (Income, Assets) against guidelines.
2. Execution (Communication):
• Coordinate with third parties (Escrow, Title, Insurance) and employers (VOE) to gather necessary items.
3. Process Innovation (Growth):
• Identify Inefficiencies: Actively analyze your own workflow to find repetitive or unnecessary tasks.
• Solve with Tech: Define these problems and collaborate with our internal Tech Team to automate them and improve the platform.
What You Bring
1.Experience
• Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in mortgage processing or financial services.
• Open to: Entry-level candidates with a strong logical mindset and desire to learn.
2.Language: Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is a plus.
3.Mindset: You are not satisfied with "doing things the way they've always been done." You want to find a faster, better way.
4.Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with learning new software.
