Position Summary:
Strategic sales executive responsible for driving regional retail mortgage growth through innovative strategies, market expansion and operational excellence. This role drives loan production, talent acquisition, and market share growth while ensuring compliance, superior loan quality, and exceptional customer experience. The VP, Regional Production (RVP) will inspire and develop high performing teams to achieve aggressive growth targets and deliver sustainable profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional Retail Sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Monitor and analyze branch performance metrics (volume, conversion rates, pull-through, profitability) to identify opportunities and implement corrective action.
- Drive increased loan volume through proactive market expansion and strategic partnerships.
- Lead regional recruitment and retention effort to build a high-performing sales team
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract, onboard and retain top-performing managers and loan originators.
- Implement accountability frameworks and performance improvement plans to optimize individual and team results.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training and leadership development to managers and originators.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, underwriting guidelines and internal quality standards.
- Partner with Operations teams to minimize defects, improve cycle times and enhance overall efficiency.
- Oversee regional staffing levels, expense management and profit optimization.
- Champion a customer-first culture by resolving escalated issues promptly and ensuring superior service delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot challenges and maintain strong client relationships.
- Originate mortgage loans as needed to support regional production goals, ensuring all originations are completed in full compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and applicable laws
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred and a minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience working in retail mortgage lending.
- Minimum four (4) years of senior sales management experience preferred.
- Applicable State loan originator license(s) required.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead and scale sales teams.
- Extensive knowledge of mortgage products, compliance, and LOS/CRM tools required.
