We’re looking for a hands-on Calibration Technician who loves working with tools, solving problems, and getting things done right. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our sensors are accurate, reliable, and ready to go. If you’re good with your hands, sharp with numbers, and comfortable around computers and electronics, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Calibrate Sensors
Use precision tools and custom software to ensure sensors meet performance specs.
Troubleshoot & Debug
Identify and resolve issues in sensor systems, cables, or hardware. This may include checking signal outputs, testing connections, and soldering components.
Perform Basic Calculations
Convert units, calculate tolerances, and spot measurement errors to maintain high accuracy standards.
Operate Software & Maintain Records
Use PC-based tools to log data, print calibration certificates, manage files, and communicate via email.
Use Test Equipment
Confidently operate multimeters to measure current, voltage, and resistance, and interpret the results to validate performance.
Soldering Repairs
Perform clean, reliable soldering to fix or build sensor connections when needed.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with sensors and how they work (force, weight, pressure, etc.)
- Proficient with multimeters and basic electrical diagnostics
- Comfortable with basic math and unit conversions
- Solid computer skills: Google Sheets, email, printing, basic software troubleshooting
- Capable of soldering wires and components cleanly and effectively
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar platforms
- Exposure to 3D printing or basic CAD design
- Familiarity with small-scale prototyping or DIY electronics
