We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our forward-thinking engineering team. Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Create detailed 3D CAD models, schematics, and technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Manufacturing Support: Assist with manufacturing during the building process and resolve production issues as needed.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs comply with customer standards and safety codes..
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a strong background in mechanical product development projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of fabrication materials (steel, aluminum, polymers, etc.), fasteners, fluid dynamics, fabrication processes, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Technical problem-solving, project management, cross-functional communication, and team collaboration.
