We are seeking a skilled and energetic Aluminum Welder to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on aluminum following detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and plasma cutters to achieve exact dimensions and cuts
- Operate power tools, hand tools, press brake machines, and plasma cutters safely and efficiently during fabrication processes
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure safety protocols are followed during welding and material handling
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and press brake machines for fabrication tasks
- Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, machining, soldering, plasma cutting, and assembly processes
- Experience with crane operation and forklift handling for material movement on-site or within manufacturing facilities
- Strong understanding of basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations in fabrication projects
