Load’em Up Trailers – Carver, MN
Load’em Up Trailers is looking for an experienced Lead Manufacturing Welder/Fabricator to join our growing trailer manufacturing operation.
We’re looking for someone who is more than just a good welder. This position is for a hands-on lead who can build trailers, read drawings, solve fabrication problems, and help keep the manufacturing team productive and builds moving forward.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- MIG welding and fabrication of steel trailer frames and components
- Building enclosed, equipment, deckover, dump, utility, and custom trailers
- Reading measurements, prints, and fabrication drawings
- Cutting, fitting, squaring, and assembling trailer frames
- Setting up builds and helping organize workflow for other fabricators
- Checking measurements and weld quality throughout the build
- Troubleshooting fabrication and fit-up issues
- Helping train and direct other welders/fabricators
- Keeping projects moving and helping ensure trailers are completed correctly and efficiently
- Working directly with ownership on new trailer designs and manufacturing improvements
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong MIG welding and steel fabrication experience
- Trailer manufacturing or similar fabrication experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read prints and build accurately from measurements
- Strong understanding of squaring, fitting, layout, and fabrication
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Leadership experience or the ability to take charge of a project
- Dependable and able to maintain a productive work pace
- Strong attention to quality and workmanship
- Someone who takes pride in building a quality finished product
Position:
- Full-time
- 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday
- No nights or weekends
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Located in Carver, Minnesota
