Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Appliance Delivery Driver to transport, unload, and often installs household appliances (refrigerators, washers, ovens) for residential or commercial customers. This role ensure safe and efficient delivery of equipment and materials while supporting field teams. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations, following assigned routes efficiently.
- Help ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Manage delivery documentation accurately, including logs, delivery receipts, and route sheets.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols diligently to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience involving box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- MUST pass background check going back 10 years
- MUST pass drug test
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Comfortable navigating city streets and rural routes using GPS or maps; excellent time management skills are essential.
