Job Title: Pre-K Music Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Pre-K Music Teacher to introduce our youngest learners to the joys of music through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. The ideal candidate will foster a love for music while supporting early childhood growth in areas such as rhythm, movement, listening, and basic musical concepts. (curriculum provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- deliver weekly music lessons for Pre-Kindergarten students (ages 2–5).
- Use songs, instruments, movement, and games to teach foundational music concepts. (curriculum provided)
- Create a joyful and safe classroom environment that encourages self-expression and participation.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children in a classroom or musical setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- May involve sitting on the floor, lifting small instruments, and leading physical movement activities.
