We are currently seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) instructor who is passionate about teaching and developing the next generation of caregivers. If you enjoy mentoring others and have experience in long-term care, acute care, or home health, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging clinical instruction aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Supervise students in a clinical setting and ensure safe, effective patient care practices.
- Evaluate student performance through skills testing, exams, and observations.
- Provide feedback, support, and mentorship to help students succeed.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with state and program guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term care setting
- Completion of an LNA Train-the-Trainer program, or willingness to complete upon hiring.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and student success
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching, precepting, or staff development experience
- Familiarity with adult education principles and higher education teaching
Salary: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule: (part-time)
- Day (730am-330pm), Evenings (430pm-930pm), or Weekends (730am-330pm)
