We have an immediate need for a licensed Registered Nurses (RN) who are seeking a full-time position working in hospital surgery department.
Job Description
As a Registered nurse (RN) you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing patient care plans in accordance with federal, state and professional standards governing the facility and their discipline.Specific Duties
- Manage patients admitted or being seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures
- Supervise and guide RN’s in assessing, planning, guiding, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.
- Provide care to pediatric and geriatric patients
- Assist with inventory and maintenance of surgical equipment
- Ensure surgical operating team needs are met
- Assist in patient care during surgical procedures
Job Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
- At least 1 year of experience
- Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Texas or compact state
- BLS
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
