Clinical Director Physical Therapist Outpatient Orthopedic 

We have an immediate need for a Physical Therapist (PT) who is seeking a full-time or part-time position with an established outpatient orthopedic clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing quality treatment programs to prevent disabilities and restore functions to patients of all types and ages. Multiple clinic locations available in northwest area of San Antonio. 

Description 

As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and implementation of effective individualized patient treatment plans to restore, compensate or adapt for loss of patient function and planning and administering medically prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards. 

Specific Duties 

• Restore patient’s functionality, reduce disabilities, and minimize pain by administering physical therapy. 

• Provide care by assessing, interpreting, evaluating, and testing as determined by the treatment plan in accordance with physicians or prescription. 

• Communicate competently via written, oral, and non-verbal with patients, families, and colleagues. 

• Instruct and educate patients and their families about in-home exercises, therapies, and the recovery process 

• Utilize EMR for documentation and reporting 

Job Requirements 

• Graduate of APTA accredited school 

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) 

• State therapy license or eligible in Texas 

• BLS/CPR Certification
