What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPC/LCSW/LMFT position at LMP Counseling & Consultation?
Licensed Mental Health Therapist – LPC, LCSW, or LMFT (Contract Position)
LMP Counseling & Consultation, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and fully licensed mental health professional to join our growing group practice as a contract clinician.
This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys providing therapy and wants to focus primarily on seeing clients and completing clinical documentation without taking on many of the administrative responsibilities associated with operating an independent private practice.
LMP Counseling & Consultation handles billing, insurance credentialing, and client intake, allowing clinicians to focus more of their time and energy on providing quality clinical care.
Why Join LMP Counseling & Consultation?
We understand that not every clinician wants to manage the business side of private practice. This contract opportunity provides the independence of clinical work within an established practice while reducing many of the administrative responsibilities that can take time away from client care.
The practice handles:
- Insurance billing and claims
- Insurance credentialing
- Client intake and initial administrative processes
- Practice-level administrative operations
Your primary responsibilities are to provide quality therapy, manage your clinical caseload, and complete accurate and timely documentation.
Scheduling is flexible based on clinician availability and practice needs. Daytime, afternoon, and evening hours are available, making this an opportunity that can accommodate a variety of schedules.
Our clients represent a range of ages, backgrounds, and presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, trauma-related concerns, and other emotional and behavioral health needs. The practice also has a special interest in perinatal and maternal mental health, although experience in this area is not required.
Requirements: Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted, fully independent Louisiana license as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT and be able to practice independently within their professional scope. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, reliability, appropriate boundaries, effective communication, and timely completion of required documentation.
