Position Summary
At Crazy Mountain Ranch, the Golf/Grounds Maintenance reports to the Golf Superintendent while performing various grounds and golf course maintenance tasks. This position will be directly involved in various maintenance assignments associated with the care of golf course greens, tees, fairways and other golf course features and areas, including care and maintenance of grounds around the ranch. Maintenance operations will be performed utilizing various specialized equipment, machinery, utility vehicles and hand tools.

Responsibilities
- Operate various types of mowing equipment on the ranch and golf course to maintain turfgrass areas.
- Equipment operation includes self-propelled walk mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, lightweight mowing equipment and other specialty machinery utilized in golf course and grounds maintenance work.
- Contributes to the maintenance operation by performing other labor tasks with various hand tools and specialized golf course power equipment.
- Be involved with several types of construction-related projects throughout the golf course.
- Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment daily while also ensuring the proper cleaning and care procedures.
- Report equipment problems to the Equipment Manager.
- Participates in cleaning maintenance areas and operates within the safety training procedures.

Competencies
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions and environments.
- Knowledge of safe and efficient mechanical operation of equipment and motorized vehicles.

- Previous experience working in the maintenance of a golf course, grounds, or similar outdoor areas.
- Desire to work in a positive, upbeat environment while supporting your fellow colleagues.

Qualifications
- At least 3 months experience working with mowing equipment or similar machinery.
