Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet daily schedules and deadlines
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled with care
- Verify delivery accuracy by confirming orders and obtaining signatures when required
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and proof of delivery documentation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Provide courteous, professional customer service at every stop
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior delivery, driving, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and route planning tools
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed
