This role is ideal for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment supporting the technology that drives live event production. What You’ll Be Doing As an AV Cable Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of our broadcast tactical fiber and AV cable inventory. Your work helps uphold the highest technical standards in the industry. Cable Testing and Cleaning • Test and clean AV and fiber cables to meet company and industry standards • Inspect connectors to ensure they are secure, clean, and fully functional Equipment Verification and Maintenance • Verify calibration and performance of test equipment • Coordinate manufacturer returns when necessary • Perform minor cable repairs and preventative maintenance Inventory Protection and Organization • Replace missing or damaged connector caps and protect fiber ends • Maintain proper organization, labeling, and wrapping of cable inventory • Conduct cycle counts of connector caps and cleaning materials to maintain stock levels Warehouse Support • Assist with general warehouse operations and cleanliness • Support proper storage and handling of rental product • Help maintain a safe and organized working environment What We’re Looking For Education and Experience • High School Diploma required • Knowledge of AV equipment and wiring or cable experience preferred Technical Skills • Understanding of AV systems or fiber is preferred • Willingness to learn with hands-on training provided Core Competencies • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks • Adaptability in a warehouse-style, hands-on environment • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Why Join LMG • Full-time stability with consistent hours • Clear career pathways including advancement to Quality Control Technician or Inventory Control Technician roles • Collaborative culture with an experienced and supportive team • Opportunity to work behind the scenes on world-class productions • Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits package LMG is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free Workplace.
