LMA Marketing and Advertising Fall Internship Program

Internship Dates: August 24 - December 17

Schedule: In-Person Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9am to 2pm.

LMA Marketing and Advertising is excited to offer a Fall Internship Program tailored for individuals passionate about social media marketing, project management, and content creation. This unpaid internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a vibrant, full-service agency environment. Interns will engage with our digital team and participate in comprehensive project management tasks, directly contributing to our online presence and client projects. While the primary focus is social media and project management, interns will have the opportunity to shadow and learn all departments at LMA.

LMA will provide college credit for the internship, if applicable.

Internship Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

• Assist in building and maintaining content calendars for LMA accounts.
• Draft captions and create content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Help plan, film, and edit videos for social media use.
• Write LMA content to support SEO and brand messaging.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for social content and campaigns.

Project Management & Strategy

• Support the creation of business reviews and planning decks.
• Assist with building annual presentation decks, including organizing key information and coordinating input from internal teams.
• Help ensure annual decks are accurate, cohesive, and aligned with client goals and overall strategy.
• Help coordinate internal timelines and deliverables across departments.
• Contribute to team communications and project updates.

Digital Marketing

• Assist in pulling digital marketing reports from platforms like Google Ads and LeadsRx.
• Observe bi-weekly strategy calls with media partners and participate when appropriate.

Professional Development

• Attend educational “Lunch & Learn” sessions hosted by industry professionals.
• Shadow team members across departments to gain well-rounded exposure to the agency.

Internship Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program related to marketing, communications, project management, etc..
• Available to participate in person on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
• Interest in social media, project coordination, and creative marketing strategy.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Canva, Google Slides, or basic video editing tools.
