Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Host/Host. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist in creating a positive dining experience. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and have a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Provide information about menu items and specials to guests.
• Assist servers with food service and ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host/host area and dining room.
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations and phone etiquette.

Qualifications

• Previous host/host or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong background in food service and customer service roles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with guest services principles and practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 32 per week
