What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwork / Cabinet Sales position at Lloyds Cabinet Shop, Inc.?
This position requires attending various homes, job sites and contractor offices to assess client needs in terms of both millwork and cabinetry. Products to be sold include interior doors, baseboard, casing, wainscot paneling, window stools etc. and complete kitchen / bath cabinetry including built ins.
Use showroom samples to suggest appropriate materials and finishes.
Help customers with architecturally appropriate choices.
Do material take offs from supplied plans and also, on site measuring to ensure accuracy.
Consider each individual customer’s style preference and budget.
Carefully consider plumbing and electrical placement as needed.
Meet with customers to go over designs, pricing and help with purchasing decisions.
Price project, present to clients and follow up.
Project Management-order, track and check in materials.

Requirements:
Must have full knowledge of trim, millwork and cabinetry typically acquired from many years of working full time in the industry.
Excellent communication and Customer Service Skills.
Must have sales experience in the millwork field.
Listening skills and attention to detail.
Excellent Organization and Time Management Skills.
Salary and commission commensurate with experience.
