About the Role
We are looking for a driven, organized, customer‐focused Office Clerk to join our automotive repair team. This role is the communication bridge between customers and technicians, responsible for writing accurate repair orders, presenting estimates, managing workflow, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is confident, detail‐oriented, and able to explain repairs in a clear, honest, value‐based way.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and document concerns using proper diagnostic questioning
Build accurate repair orders with clear notes for technicians
Communicate with technicians to clarify concerns and gather findings
Present estimates using value‐based language (not pressure‐based selling)
Prioritize repairs and explain Good/Better/Best options
Follow up on approvals, declined work, and parts ETA
Manage shop workflow, scheduling, and customer expectations
Close out invoices accurately and collect payment
Maintain a clean, professional front‐office environment
Deliver a 5‐star customer experience every time
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced shop environment
Basic understanding of automotive systems (we will train the right person)
Comfortable using shop management software
Organized, reliable, and able to stay calm under pressure
Valid driver’s license
Salary : $15 - $25
