Responsibilities
- Prepare and mix foam production batches according to approved formulas, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Operate mixing, blending, and adhesive application equipment safely and efficiently.
- Accurately measure and record material weights and production data.
- Complete all required production documentation and batch records.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistency and product quality.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products and report any quality concerns to supervision.
- Clean equipment, tools, and work areas between batches to prevent contamination.
- Follow all work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written instructions, work orders, and production formulas.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Prior forklift certification or experience is a plus.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and work in a manufacturing environment.
