What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at LLI Architectural LLC?
LLI Architectural Lighting is hiring a full-time Staff Accountant to join our finance team. LLI Architectural Lighting ) is a high growth linear LED lighting company located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Primary responsibilities:
1) Sending out daily invoices
2) Enter bills into the system
3) Prepare daily accounting/operational reports
4) Correspond with customers and vendors on questions
5) Assist accounting with ad-hoc reports and month-end close such as Fixed Assets & capitalization of assets
6) Create and post adjusting journal entries to correct errors or recognize expenses/revenues not yet recorded.
7) Call clients with past-due accounts to inquire about payment status and potential issues.
The ideal candidate will add to our positive, dynamic culture and love working with people. Candidates must:
1) Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
3) Be proficient with Quickbooks Enterprise (strongly preferred)
3) Have knowledge of basic accounting functionality
4) Possess a strong attention to detail
5) Have lighting industry experience (a plus)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
