Essential Accountabilities For The Physical Therapy Assistant
- Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
- Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
- Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans.
- Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).
- Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Associate’s degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Ohio.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire)
- Professional Liability Insurance, recommended by governing body.
- Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept the challenge of new assignments and be able to work well with others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
