Sales Representative – Custom Manufacturing

Role Description The Sales Representative – Custom Manufacturing role at LK MFG is a full-time, on-site position based in Plano, TX. The individual in this role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and promoting LK MFG’s custom manufacturing solutions to meet client needs. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting in-person and virtual sales presentations, preparing quotes and proposals, and negotiating pricing and contract terms in coordination with internal teams. The Sales Representative collaborates closely with engineering, production, and customer service to ensure accurate project scoping, timely delivery, and high client satisfaction. This role also involves maintaining detailed records in the CRM system, tracking sales performance, and providing regular updates and forecasts to leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing, industrial products, or custom production environments.
• Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and account management, with the ability to build and sustain long-term customer relationships.
• Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes, and to translate customer requirements into clear project scopes.
• Proficiency in negotiation, pricing discussions, and closing deals while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex solutions in a clear, accessible manner.
• Experience using CRM and sales productivity tools to manage pipelines, track activities, and report on performance.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfort working on-site in a manufacturing environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, and customer service.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
