Summary

As a Forklift and Shipping Warehouse Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate consolidation, packaging, and shipment of parts and products. This position requires proficiency in forklift operation, shipping and receiving processes, and box wrapping techniques. Your primary goal is to support the seamless operation of the warehouse by preparing items for shipment and maintaining an organized, safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Part Consolidation:

• Organize and consolidate parts and products based on shipping schedules and orders.
• Ensure items are grouped appropriately for efficient picking and packing processes.
  
  

Forklift Operation

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments from trucks, placing them in designated storage areas.
  
  

Shipping And Receiving

• Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by checking items against documentation and purchase orders.
• Prepare shipping documents, labels, and necessary paperwork for outgoing orders.
  
  

Box Wrapping And Packaging

• Expertly wrap and package boxes to protect items from damage during transportation.
• Utilize appropriate packaging materials and techniques to ensure secure shipments.
  
  

Inventory Management

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating the warehouse management system.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor or inventory control personnel.
  
  

Warehouse Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure all aisles and work areas are clear and free from hazards.
