We are a team of high-energy professionals who share a passion for design, a collaborative approach, and a casual culture. We solve challenges by leveraging the collective expertise and ingenuity of the best and brightest minds across development, design, and construction.

The Role We Want You For

You will lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering highly technical engineering design packages for Mission Critical and Data Center projects across the U.S. This role involves close collaboration with internal design and construction teams to execute complex, fast-paced design-build projects that meet strict uptime, scalability, and security standards.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of high-performance environments and mission critical systems, and can guide teams through all phases—from conceptual design to final delivery.

The Specifics of the Role

  • Lead engineering and design teams in executing Tier-certified, mission critical facility projects
  • Manage quality and technical excellence through structured design reviews and cross-discipline coordination
  • Collaborate with clients to define operational goals, including redundancy (N 1, 2N), energy efficiency (PUE), and capacity planning
  • Oversee submittal reviews, RFI responses, and on-site field verifications
  • Develop and review MEP designs for data center cooling, power, and system integration
  • Present engineering updates and solutions to clients and stakeholders
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools for progress tracking
  • Communicate technical details clearly through reports and presentations
  • Apply knowledge of construction principles and evolving design methodologies
  • Lead cross-functional teams in a high-performance environment
  • Perform site visits, inspections, and technical audits (including climbing ladders and accessing infrastructure)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related preferred)
  • 10 years of engineering design experience, including 3 years in Mission Critical/Data Center environments
  • 2 years managing multi-disciplinary design teams, preferably in fast-track design/build settings
  • Strong knowledge of power systems, cooling technologies (CRAH, CRAC, chilled water), and BMS integration
  • Familiarity with industry standards: Uptime Institute Tier levels, NFPA 70E, ASHRAE 90.1/TC 9.9, etc.
  • Experience in both greenfield and retrofit data center projects a strong plus
  • Competitive, problem-solving mindset
  • Strong client management and technical leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-reliability designs
