Entry-level Design Engineer Essential Functions
- Responsible for performing design tasks, engineering analysis, research, documentation of solutions with recommendations and development of construction documents.
- Develop design and perform engineering calculations.
- Conduct site visits/inspections, as needed.
- Develop project quantities.
- Prepare construction cost estimates.
- Assist and collaborate with team members (project engineers, project managers, CAD technicians) as needed for the successful completion of design assignments
- Other duties as assigned.
ENTRY-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s in civil engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering exam preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred.
- Working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Micro Station) preferred.
