A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE

- Performing design calculations, preparing plans, and directing schematic designs for TDOT, local government, and other projects around the region.
- Using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.
- Interacting with task leaders, team members, clients, and other consultants.
- Exercising judgment in independently evaluating, selecting, and adapting standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Mentoring direct reports, and conveying knowledge to others
- Team lunches/breakfasts and social activities
- Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (Tennessee preferred as starting point)
- 5 years of experience with MicroStation, Geopak (or Open Roads) and TDOT procedures
- Effective communication skills to engage with other employee-owners.
- Experience with Bentley ORD
- Experience with Large Scale TDOT Projects or Programs
- Experience and relationships with various TN cities and other agencies
- Advanced skills in specialized software programs
- Technical Training Experience
