POSITION OVERVIEW: As an Jr Party Chief at WLB Group an LJA Company, you will be responsible for transporting and setting up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Be proficient in running all surveying equipment (Trimble or Topcon GPS with data collects) and Trimble Robotic total stations with data collectors.
• Accurately calculates and records field data
• Reviews job specifications and plans field work methods and costs
• Operates survey instruments, manual and power tools to obtain data
• Locates and identifies property corners
• Stakes and measures control points
• Prepares and maintains inventory of equipment and material
  
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• HS Graduate or GED
  
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong communication skills both oral and written
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting/carrying of 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds
• Driving to and from various project sites
• Walking and working outdoors under variable weather conditions.
