POSITION OVERVIEW: As an Intern - Marketing at LJA Business Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team with day-to-day operations, proposal preparation, and internal marketing initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, employee-owned environment while contributing to projects that support the company’s growth and brand presence.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

• Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials, proposals, and department projects
• Supporting new hire onboarding by preparing employee packets, coordinating photos, and ordering business cards and nameplates
• Compiling information from Marketing Coordinators and formatting and distributing weekly reports
• Maintaining marketing records and assisting with public relations activities, including event registrations and ticket distribution
• Coordinating with printers or media contacts and assisting with marketing expense reconciliation
  
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must have completed at least one year of college and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  
  

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:

• Previous experience in a marketing or proposal-based role (internship or coursework accepted)
• Familiarity with marketing coordination, reporting, or administrative support
• Interest in marketing, branding, and public relations initiatives
