Summary: The position will be responsible for supporting multiple accounting systems. Initial focus will be on Trimble Spectrum software for construction services. Future systems will include BST Global for engineering services, as well as financial reporting consolidation tools. The role will be the primary point of contact between operations, accounting, and the vendor. It will manage the entire life cycle of technical issues and customization requests.
General Responsibilities
- Document issues and track to resolution.
- Administer security permissions using role-based access models.
- Facilitate training on the system functionality, emphasizing a train-the-trainer model.
- Help internal customers improve processes and offer multiple options for achieving goals, assisting with process documentation as needed.
- Assist with the design of customizations and test them to ensure they meet customer needs, preparing business cases when needed.
- Develop dashboards and reporting using various toolsets.
- Understand the information lifecycle of project and opportunity management, inventory management, project accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7 years of relevant work experience
- Hands-on experience in business analysis in a construction/engineering environment
- Knowledge of project and inventory management processes
- Familiar with fundamental accounting concepts
- Report and dashboard design
Preferred Qualifications
- Trimble Spectrum
- MS SQL
