Job Summary:

The Landscape Crew Member performs a variety of duties related to the installation of both hardscape and softscape materials, including but not limited to brick patios, retaining walls, edging, shrubs, and other plant materials. Must possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, takes pride in quality workmanship, and communicates effectively with crew members and supervisors. The goal is to deliver professional, durable, and visually appealing landscape installations that support long-term client satisfaction and the success of the Landscape Division.

Essential Job Functions:

• Install hardscape features including brick patios, retaining walls, pavers, steps, and edging according to project plans and specifications
• Install softscape elements such as trees, shrubs, mulch, and other plant materials
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and light equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist in site preparation, grading, and material handling
• Maintain a clean and safe job site by following company safety procedures and best practices
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed
• Interpret and follow landscape design plans and verbal instructions from supervisors
• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure project goals and timelines are met
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment
• Assist with general labor tasks and support other divisions as needed
• Snow removal as needed, including plowing and shoveling 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or related outdoor work
• Familiarity with hardscape installation techniques and use of landscaping tools/equipment
• Ability to read and interpret landscape blueprints or layout plans
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
