Job Summary
Join my growing practice as a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN), . This role is focused on delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing services. You will be responsible for providing skilled patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, and supporting overall patient well-being.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform personalized care plans.
- Administer medications, injections,
- Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR Athenahealth to ensure seamless medical records management.
- Support triage processes by evaluating patient needs in urgent or emergency situations and coordinating appropriate care pathways.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge planning, case management strategies, and coordinate post-acute or home & community care services.
Experience
- Prior experience working in critical care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation.
- Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for accurate medical billing and documentation is preferred.
- Background working with special populations such as Addiction Medicine and preventive health.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology principles, and patient assessment techniques ensures high-quality care delivery.
