Position Overview
The Medical Project Manager will lead the end-to-end process of opening a new satellite medical clinic in Hopkinsville. This role requires expertise in healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, procurement, and community engagement. The manager will ensure the clinic is delivered on time, within budget, and fully compliant with all accreditations, permitting, and safety standards, while orchestrating a seamless transition from planning to soft launch and full go live.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage a comprehensive project plan covering site preparation, staffing, and operational readiness.
2. Sequence activities for soft launch and full go-live, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
3. Oversee vendor selection, bidding processes, and contract negotiations for office needs and IT systems.
4. Ensure transparent, cost-effective procurement aligned with organizational and grant related policies.
5. Manage business and building accreditation processes.
6. Secure all necessary permits and licenses for healthcare operations and facility compliance.
7. Ensure adherence to OSHA workplace safety standards.
8. Implement HIPAA-compliant systems for patient privacy and data security.
9. Coordinate inspections and audits to meet healthcare regulatory requirements.
10. Build relationships with local stakeholders, community leaders, and healthcare partners.
11. Promote awareness of the clinic’s services and foster trust within the community.
12. Establish workflows for patient processes.
13. Conduct readiness assessments and dry runs before launch.
14. Design and execute a phased soft launch to test systems and workflows.
15. Lead the transition to full operations, ensuring all departments are aligned and prepared.
16. Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proven experience in healthcare project management, clinic operations, or facility development.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, bidding, accreditation, and permitting processes.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and HIPAA compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Project Management, or related field
- At least 2 years of’ experience in Project Management, with a proven track record of managing complex projects. Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and are insurable to drive LivWell CHS’ vehicles
