Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily mechanical assembly activities, ensuring timely completion of projects
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes accurately
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify component dimensions
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication tools to assemble mechanical parts
- Conduct quality inspections using schematic diagrams and blueprint specifications to maintain high standards
- Train and mentor team members on proper assembly techniques, safety protocols, and tool usage
- Maintain detailed documentation of assembly procedures, inspection reports, and process improvements
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly environments with hands-on work involving fabrication and machining
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus for material handling tasks
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in an assembly or manufacturing setting is highly desirable
