Concrete Superintendent/ Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Concrete Superintendent/Supervisor to lead and oversee concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive site supervision experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves managing daily operations on-site, ensuring project timelines are met, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with various teams to deliver high-quality results. The Concrete Superintendent/Supervisor will play a critical role in supervising crews, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all project specifications and safety regulations.

Duties

• Lead and supervise concrete construction activities on-site, including pouring, finishing, and curing processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align project goals and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Monitor work progress daily, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Manage site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and enforce safety procedures among crew members.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Utilize construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
• Supervise subcontractors and labor crews; provide training as needed on equipment operation including the use of tools such as ohmmeters.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, materials used, and labor hours for project tracking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete construction management or supervision on large-scale projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site operations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other construction management tools.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management.
• Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, budgeting, managing multiple teams, and supervising personnel effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Construction site experience with a focus on concrete projects; familiarity with pipeline projects is a plus.
• Management experience including supervising teams of various sizes; ability to lead by example while maintaining high safety standards.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA certification are preferred; additional technical skills such as using ohmmeters are advantageous.
