This role involves clearing pathways, driveways, and parking areas to ensure safety and accessibility. Duties
- Shovel snow from walkways, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas using hand tools and snow plows.
- Operate equipment such as snow blowers or light machinery when necessary.
- Apply salt or de-icing agents to prevent ice formation on surfaces.
- Assist with general landscaping tasks including lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening during off-season periods.
- Ensure all work areas are safe and free of hazards following snow removal procedures.
Skills
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as snow plows.
- Knowledge of snow plowing techniques and de-icing methods.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to safety protocols to prevent accidents during snow removal and landscape activities.
