What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Tech II or III position at Livingston County?
Under general supervision, the Engineer Tech performs a variety of responsible engineering work, applying professional engineering principles and practices to a variety of projects on County Highways and Township Roads. Work involves assembling various proposals, plans and specifications for road & bridge related construction or maintenance projects; serving as resident ET on construction and maintenance projects for roads, bridges, and drainage facilities.
Education Requirements: Associates Degree in a technical field or sufficient experience in a highway engineering field. Prefer 2 to 3 years of experience in highway design, construction, and maintenance and bridge construction.
