What are the responsibilities and job description for the JV Boys Basketball Coach position at Living Word/Maranatha Christian Academy?
Maranatha Christian Academy is located in Brooklyn Park, MN, and is seeking a JV Boys Basketball Coach to join our successful and growing basketball program. The JV Coach will work closely with our Head Coach to develop student-athletes both on the court and in their faith. At Maranatha, we believe athletics are about more than wins and losses. Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the JV boys' basketball team.
- Develop players in basketball fundamentals, skills, and team concepts.
- Work closely with the Head Coach to support the overall vision and direction of the program.
- Help prepare players for future roles within the varsity program.
- Build a positive, competitive, and Christ-centered team culture.
- Serve as a Christian role model and mentor for student-athletes.
- Communicate positively and professionally with players, parents, coaches, and athletic administration.
- Attend all practices, games, and required team activities.
