LivingWell Med Spa is a locally owned and operated medical spa in Webster Groves. We are looking for a dependable, professional, friendly Medical Assistant who enjoys working directly with patients and being part of a small, growing practice.
This position combines patient care with front-office and administrative responsibilities. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates well, stays organized, and provides excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience
- Patient scheduling, registration, and appointment coordination
- Answer phones and assist with patient questions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient information
- Assist with medical weight loss programs and supplement injections within the employee’s training, credentials, and authorized scope
- Prepare and maintain patient and treatment rooms
- Assist with medication and supply inventory
- Patient follow-up and communication
- Data entry and general administrative duties
- Collect payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the medical spa
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive experience for every patient
- Assist with other day-to-day duties as needed in a small medical spa environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant education, certification, or relevant medical-office experience preferred
- 1 year of medical office experience preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) preferred
- Strong appointment scheduling and patient-registration skills
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Organized, dependable, punctual, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a small team
- Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in additional areas of the practice
Professional Appearance & Grooming
Because this is a client-facing medical spa position, maintaining a polished and professional appearance is an important part of the role. Team members are expected to maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming, with neat, well-groomed hair and clean, neat, wrinkle-free professional attire appropriate for a medical spa environment.
